Founded in 1977 by Mike Leep Sr. and Van Gurley, the Gurley Leep Automotive Family began with a Buick dealership in South Bend, Indiana, built on a simple belief: treat people the right way and success will follow. Today, under the leadership of Mike Leep Jr. and James Leep, the company has grown to represent 20 automotive brands across 24 dealerships in five states, supported by more than 1,500 dedicated team members.

Our events over the years have benefitted some of the most impactful charities on the North Shore such as PAWS, Winnetka Women’s Club, Glenview Women’s Club, MMRF – Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, A Safe Place, Hangar One Foundation – Glen Museum project, The Leukemia Research Foundation, The National Alliance on Mental Health and Humble Design. Over the past 25 years, we have had the privilege to support dozens of organizations and their events through corporate sponsorship, silent auction donations, philanthropic cash donations as well as supporting local businesses with event partnerships with Morton’s the Steakhouse, The Happ Inn, Bent Fork Bakery, Few Spirits, Knightsbridge Wine Shoppe, Red Door Spa.
